FLOWER ESSENCES FOR PET BEHAVIOR PROBLEMS

Wholistic pet care can help solve many pet behavior problems like cat urinating, and dog separation anxiety.Animals are conscious, intelligent beings. Their emotions are rich and complex. Like people, animals can be happy, confident and loving - or, they may, for various reasons, develop attitudes of hostility, mistrust, jealousy, anxiety and insecurity. Also like people, animals can become depressed, even to the point of losing the will to live. Many grieve deeply when they lose their owner or a beloved companion animal. And others, because of environmental stressors and trauma, develop neurotic behaviors and even physical illnesses.

Like children, animals communicate that they are having emotional problems through their behavior - which in turn, often creates problems for their owners. All of the above issues, and more, may be successfully addressed with the right flower essences.

Flower Essences are very safe to use with pets. Flower Essences are very different from herbs or drugs, in that they work at the energetic, not the biochemical level. This means that there are no side effects or problems from overdosing. The worst that can happen if you use essences that are not right for your pet, is that the condition will not improve. Also, there are also some animals that don't respond to the essences - but their condition is not worsened from the essences.

If your pet has a behavior or emotional problem and you are interested in wholistic pet care, then you might want to consider a professional flower essence consultation. My expertise and experience with a wide array of flower essences can maximize the chances of success with your pet. Flower essences have made a dramatic difference in correcting a variety of imbalances in many of the animals I have worked with.

Flower essences may be effective for a host of pet behavior problems, and may also have a positive impact on various physical symptoms - especially those physical symptoms which have an emotional (stress) component.

How can flower essences help pet behavior problems?

  • Calming: Many essences have an almost immediate calming effect on anxious, frightened , or otherwise traumatized animals.
  • Correcting Neurotic Behavior Patterns (see examples below)
  • Balancing Excessive Personality Traits: Excessive personality traits, such as overly-timid, or overly aggressive, may be brought into better balance.
  • Clearing Negative Effects of Old Trauma

I have used flower essences to address an amazingly wide range of specific pet behavior issues. In using them with animals, I often feel like I'm engaging the animals in a deep process of psychotherapy, and I am still astonished by the dramatic changes that have occurred - behaviorally, emotionally, and even physically.

Here are some examples from my files:

HYPERSENSITIVE ANIMALS OFTEN RESPOND WELL
TO THE RIGHT FLOWER ESSENCES:

  • Kelly, the twelve- year old dog who suffered from severe separation anxiety and sensitivity to sound.  One day when left alone, the sounds of nearby construction drove this panicked dog to eat through a wall and climb a large tree in an effort to escape the noise.
    •  Results: Kelly's hypersensitivity, separation anxiety, and extreme behaviors stopped after three essence sessions.
  • Fluffy, a rescued mix-breed dog who had suffered extensive abuse in the past. He panicked and fled from loud noises - his owners often had trouble finding him. He also constantly craved attention, to the point where it became annoying.
    • Results:  After only one essence session, Fluffy's owners reported that he was much calmer, and less demanding. As for the panic, he surprised his owners by staying in one place after he heard a gunshot nearby!
  • Jake, a terrier who was hopelessly pining over the death of another dog he had been raised with.
    • Results :One essence session restored his spirits.

ODD OR COMPULSIVE PET BEHAVIOR PATTERNS MAY BE CORRECTED WITH THE RIGHT FLOWER ESSENCES:

  • George, an older rescued poodle was nearly blind and deaf. In spite of excellent, loving care, he would uncontrollably pace and whine for hours at night. He seemed confused. His owners lost a lot of sleep trying to get George to settle down.
    • Results: After just one round of essences, George's pacing began to decrease. Within a couple of weeks, he was sleeping normally and both he and his owners were much happier.
  • Bouncer was a young labrador retreiver who would unaccountably walk in circles following every car trip.
    • Results: One round of essences cured this behavior.
  • Mortimer was a cat who began to compulsively pull out his fur and chew his skin in one spot, causing a large sore. Allergies and parasites were ruled out by his veterinarian.
    • Results: One round of essences halted Mort's chewing, and the sore healed. R
  • Apache Dancer, was an Apaloosa mare. She was so stubborn and cantankerous, she repeatedly injured herself - one time kicking through a fence because another horse was being exercised.
    • Apache's attitude was completely shifted in four sessions.

CATS URINATING OUTSIDE THE LITTERBOX HAVE BEEN CORRECTED USING THE RIGHT FLOWER ESSENCES

I have helped a number of cats to correct their irksome habits of urinating outside the litterbox, on the rug, or other inappropriate places. Please realize that there is no one flower essence formula to cure cats who urinate outside their litterbox. Each flower essence formula needs to be tailored to the individual cat and it's issues. For details on three different cats I have successfully worked with, click here to download the report.

CHRONIC PHYSICAL SYMPTOMS THAT DON'T RESPOND TO MEDICAL INTERVENTIONS MAY BE HELPED WITH THE RIGHT FLOWER ESSENCES

When a physical symptom becomes a chronic condition, it may relate to an old, unresolved trauma, or have some other emotional component. In these cases, flower essences may be helpful.

  • Buddy was a dog with a mysterious chronic cough that didn't respond to medications.
    • Results: After only one essence session, the cough disappeared.
  • Aloha was an inactive cat with chronic constipation. . Aloha had had an extensive veterinary work-up prior to receiving essences.
    • Results:  Aloha became more active and playful, with normal bowel movements after three essence sessions.
  • Princess was a  12 year old Siamese cat who was slowly dying from the proliferation of scar tissue in her throat, the result of a rare virus. She couldn't eat, and became extremely weak, unable to even walk upstairs. Princess's owner sought the help of two wholistic veterinarians before coming to me for flower essences.
    • Results: Two essence sessions turned everything around for Princess. She miraculously began to eat and became an active cat again. She lived two more years, and died from kidney failure, not from the virus.
  • Frank was a cat whose prior neglect necessitated the amputation of a leg. He was not recovering normally and showed signs of further deterioration.
    • Results: Two essence sessions perked him up and enabled him to heal and become a healthy, active cat.

It is important to note that flower essences do not, in any way, substitute for qualified veterinary care. When an animal has a physical symptom, you must seek out a diagnosis and recommended options from your veterinarian, prior to consulting with me. When I work with your pet, I will not be treating the symptom - rather, I will sense energetic and emotional imbalances, and find appropriate flower essences for those imbalances. The result of correcting those imbalances may be an improvement in the animal's physical condition.
